About Me

My name is William Fu, I have a Foundation Degree/HND in Graphic Design and currently work full time in city of Sheffield designing posters for licenses from TV, Film, Music, Gaming, Sports, Celebrity and many other genres.

Do?

Branding & Identity, Typography, Layout design, Illustration, Digital art and manipulation and lastly sometimes a wee bit of Web design/layout.

Style?

My favourite process involves creating visuals working with photo manipulation combining illustrative elements to create compositions. I always find clean lines, simplicity and minimalist styles with beautiful colour combinations attractive. All things great and small. I should also mention my obsession with 'cuteness' often seen in Japanese comic & cartoon culture.

How?

Depending on the project my work usually starts with the trusty pen, pencils and fine-liners to brainstorm and jot ideas along with several 'controlled day dreams' as my Tutor once called them. For computer software I use the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Dreamweaver. I use an Apple iMac along with my trusty Wacom drawing tablet (which I love!).
